GGD Inspection Reports

The GGD (Municipal Health Service) carries out inspections in childcare on behalf of the municipality. All childcare institutions are visited by the GGD and assessed on whether they comply with the Childcare Act. The GGD inspects nurseries and out-of-school childcare facilities annually. Inspectors examine whether policies are being implemented with regard to the following areas:

  • Pedagogical climate
  • Staff and groups
  • Health and Safety
  • Accommodation
  • Parental Right

The research results are published in the National Childcare Register. Please see pages of the individual locations for the corresponding inspection reports.

A policy and quality officer has been appointed within Royal Kids Home to guarantee the quality of our childcare facilities. She is responsible for the general policy management, supports all locations with the location-specific policy and is the point of contact for the GGD.
